Starting from Brégnier-Cordon (210 m), this circuit culminates in the Col du Calvaire de Portes (1010 m) located on the slopes of the Rhône river in the last foothills of the Bugey mountains.
A short walk is necessary to admire the view from the Calvaire and the magnificent Chartreuse de Portes.
