The cycling event you cannot miss this summer in Bugey Sud
Since 2012, the French department Ain organises along with the brotherhood les Fêlés du Colombier and the Tourism Information Centre, one Saturday per month, from June to September, the car-free cycling days of the Grand Colombier.
During these events, the road is closed to all motor vehicles from 7 AM to 3 PM.
In 2020, the 3 events have gathered more than 400 riders on each occasion.

Although it is possible to start at any time, a group start is organised from the Maison du vélo in Culoz at 9 PM.

18.3 km, an elevation gain of 1262 m, with several parts at 14 %. Your reward: a wonderful point of view on the Bugey region, the Rhône river, the Alps, the Mont Blanc with Lakes Bourget, Annecy and Geneva.
