The cycling event you cannot miss this summer in Bugey Sud
ATTENTION : due to a landslide a few days ago, the road to the top of Grand Colombier from Culoz is currently closed. The car-free cycling event is maintained in July starting from the town Anglefort.
The car-free cycling days of the Grand Colombier are organised every year since 2012 one Saturday per month, from June to September,
During these events, the road is closed to all motor vehicles from 7 AM to 3 PM.
In 2021, the 3 events have gathered more than 450 riders on each occasion.
In 2022, car-free cycling days will be held on 11 June, 9 July, 13 August et 10 September.
This is a no registration and no entry fee for this event.
The French department Ain with the brotherhood Félés du Grand Colombier organise a pit stop with food and drinks at the top.

18.3 km, an elevation gain of 1262 m, with several parts at 14 %. Your reward: a wonderful point of view on the Bugey region, the Rhône river, the Alps, the Mont Blanc with Lakes Bourget, Annecy and Geneva.
